Week 4

RSS Feeds.

I explored rss feeds last year for the first time when in the space of 2 days I had someone ask me to teach them about rss feeds and was asked to give my opinion on their use on our new website at a development workshop.Well i was completely lost as i had never even heard of an rss feed before so had a fast upskilling. I was surprised that for this exervice we used Bloglines as i had used my yahoo account to set up rss feeds and I think I prefer using the same account for as many things as possible so I don't have to sign up over and over again. My problem with rss feeds is that there are not many topics that i want to get a constant update on. or follow regularly. I'm not a big news junkie so I don't really follow current events. So for me I'm not sure that i would use this. My ideal would be to have it integrated into my email or facebook as these are sites I visit frequently.
